| Education: Colfax High School U.C. Davis, B.A. English After competition in cross country and Track and Field at Colfax High and U.C. Davis, Coach Bruns completed three years of coaching at U.C. Davis (Coaching the Decathlon and Fall track program), one year at Colfax High School (Jumps),5 years at Delta High School (eveything from pole vault and throws to sprints, jumps and distances), and now teaches English and is the head coach of Cross Country in the Fall and Track & Field in the Spring. Entering his 18th season of coaching, Coach Bruns plans to see WHS become a track power once again. Coach Bruns has helped send 3 cross country teams to state as well as 2 seperate individuals and has coached 6 high jumpers and 11 distance runners to the Masters meet in track and field. Of those athletes, 3 have made the California State Track and Field Championships. Coach Bruns is married to Dr. Jennifer Bruns and resides in Sacramento with their 21 month old daughter Olivia Mae and new baby Sofia Prefontaine Bruns. |
| Education: Woodland High Chico State Coach "Kelly", known by the community of Woodland as the YMCA "acting director" and pied piper to the youth of Woodland, begins her fourth year with an increasingly strong distance group of runners. Coach Kelly also coaches with Coach Bruns in the cross-country season. Coach Kelly lives in Woodland and has two sons: Josh and Jeryme Hutchison who have both competed for the Wolves. Jeryme is currently in his Senior year and competes as a pole vaulter and middle distance runner. |

Bay Valley Runner-up 2001 Bay Valley Champions 2003 Nor-Cal Champions 2003 * American River Cross Country Team 2002 Jesse Owens Games Bronze Medalists 2000 All-City Weight Lifting Competition 1st Place (145 lbs) *Club Flash Track Coach 01-06 USATF Rio Linda High School jumps coach 2002 Grew up in the Del Paso Heights area of Sacramento with 6 brothers and sisters. Mother was a multi-event athlete at Grant High School. Coach Anthony is currently a senior at Sac State and is still involved and competes as an official, unattached track and road (5 and 10Ks) athlete. |
